French fashion house Saint Laurent is tapping Hollywood darling Hailey Beiber for a collaborative release.

Classic shades from sunglasses company Ray-Ban have been reinvented through the eyes of creative director Anthony Vaccarello. Limited to 1,750 numbered units, the Ultra Black Wayfarer launched online and at limited Saint Laurent store locations on June 1.

Summer of Saint Laurent
Retailing for $495, the Saint Laurent x Ray-Ban Ultra Black Wayfarer can be found on the heritage brand's site. Offline, the limited-edition specs are only in stock at its Rive Droite Los Angeles and Babylone (see story) locations.

First introduced in 1952, the Ray-Ban Wayfarers have remained in vogue for many decades. The West Coast wardrobe staple has just received a fresh coat of paint, courtesy of Mr. Vaccarello.

Designed with opaque lenses and both Saint Laurent and Ray-Ban logos, the frames feature modern updates such as sharper edges, as well as black metal hinges and rivets.

The shades are seen on Ms. Beiber in new marketing. American fashion photographer Gray Sorrenti lensed campaign shots starring the model, a friend of Mr. Vaccarello.
