Luxury products sold on discounted retailers will not thwart real brand retail

 

Luxury brands such as Vera Wang will not be harmed by the presence of discounting sites on Facebook and other social media sites, according to an industry expert.

Although these sites offer luxury items at discounted prices, those who frequent sites such as DailySteal.com or Overstock.com are not typical luxury shoppers. Loyalists will know to stick to a luxury brand's actual ecommerce site or its trusted retailers.
