Hermès rides global luxury boom
Spending by Hermès’ affluent customers pushed sales up by 13 percent in the first quarter, but growth slowed in the core leather goods business, which makes Kelly and Birkin bags, and sales of watches fell on lower demand from China, the Financial Times reports.
