Kering-owned Italian porcelain brand Ginori 1735 is enhancing its collections.
Shot by French photographer Cedric Buchet, its decor is featured in a content drop that marks the second chapter of an ongoing campaign series starring American actor Jake Gyllenhaal. This time, the ambassador has taken to Italy’s Villa Ginori to highlight the latest Oriente Italiano additions.
Modern take
The campaign places focus on what it calls the “art of table etiquette.” Set amid an 18th-century Tuscan estate, Mr. Gyllenhaal models a modern-age approach to hosting.
In a short clip, he accessorizes a dining table with pieces shown in two new Oriente Italiano shades: Castagna and Meringa. Both sporting delicate white patterning and gold threading, the latter takes after the shade of the famed dessert it is named after, while the former presents as a chestnut brown.
The grounds that Mr. Gyllenhaal walks once belonged to Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori, founder of the company’s very first porcelain factory, who resided in the home nearly three centuries ago.

Prices for Castagna and Meringa collection items range from $120 to $1,250.
The campaign is now live across the brand’s digital channels. Though the Hollywood talent appears solo in these scenes, Ginori 1735 uses its most recent marketing opportunity to toy with “the uniqueness of social dining moments.”
The first set of Ginori 1735 ads casting Mr. Gyllenhaal debuted in April 2023 (see story).
